The Table d'hôte

The principle of the table d'hôte comes from the French tradition. Hosts offer a meal to their guests at a communal table. This concept is especially popular in rural areas where people seek to offer a unique cultural and culinary experience.

  • A fixed-price meal: A single menu is offered at a fixed price, which is different from an à la carte menu where each dish is paid for individually.

  • Service is provided at a communal table: Guests share the same table, thus promoting a friendly atmosphere where discussions and exchanges between people who do not know each other beforehand are encouraged.

  • Hospitality above all: we prepare and serve meals in a welcoming, family-style atmosphere. Dishes are homemade with local ingredients, showcasing the region's traditional cuisine.

  • Simplicity and Authenticity: The experience is often described as more authentic, offering insight into the local life and food customs of the region visited.

Takeaway pizzas

Caroline prepares the pizza dough using a traditional method.

After the rising, Caroline makes the pizzas and cooks them.

You can enjoy them straight out of the oven.

  • The pizzas are entirely homemade. Caroline can cook 5 pizzas every 15 minutes.

  • You order the pizzas before 3 p.m. and you pick them up from 5:45 p.m. until around 8 p.m.

  • The "Ratatouille" pizza is made with real ratatouille cooked entirely by Caroline according to a traditional recipe and with fresh vegetables.

The Bakery

The Brout-Vernet baker visits the estate every morning between 8:30 and 9 a.m., except Mondays. She offers several types of bread (traditional, wholemeal, corn), pastries, and even made-to-order pastries.
