Domaine Les Gandins is located in the heart of nature and offers safari tents, authentic lodges and wooden chalets.
In the heart of the Bourbonnaise countryside, a stone's throw from the Auvergne volcanoes, on the banks of the river, near the woods, through the fields, you can relax and have fun.
At Domaine Les Gandins you will find a table d'hote, a swimming pool, trampolines, pedal karts and much more.
In a picturesque corner of France, which has magnified its history, you can visit its medieval castles and its beautiful authentic villages.
Safari tents
The camping spots are not marked out.
You are free to choose your camping spot.
Campers place their tents or caravans and little by little a camping village grows.
We can accommodate up to 35 campers.
Each one has an electrical outlet. Sometimes a long extension cord is necessary.
We mainly welcome families. As night falls, the campsite becomes silent. Friends from the day meet up, parents share a drink with their neighbors while the children rest, ready to start the next day.
Early in the morning, children jump on trampolines, pedal karts are sought after, and children begin to run.
At 8:30 a.m., the horn and then the ringing of the bell announce the arrival of the baker (except on Mondays). Then the early birds slowly make their way to the bar where Sandrine, the baker, is waiting.
You will find self-service coffee at the bar.
You have bread, croissants, a mug of coffee, the day can begin.
The children are familiar with the second important moment of the day: the opening of the swimming pool. At 10 a.m., the children wait impatiently behind the gate.
Later, in the heat of the day, others may prefer to go swimming in the river. We suggest borrowing large inner tubes that allow for safe jumping into the river.
The end of the day will be more suitable for organizing a football match.
